If you found out that these prices are way out of your league and wonder how it could be this expensive to ship items from Scandinavia, Europe over to America, here's a quick insight on the calculation:
Before I can get anything at all over to the states there is a rather large starting-fee just to get the goods on a plane across the Atlantic.
This is the main cause to the price per unit dropping drasticly as you move up in quantity, which is why I would not recommend going under 5 bottles.
As the price moves up you might notice that the price per bottle when going up a notch is not the standard price per bottle. This is becouse along with the price of the bottles and packaging theres a weight fee that will increase every second bottle you add which is the main reason the price keeps going up.
I can ensure you that this does not at all make me a rich man, and I'm sorry if the prices scare you, but the Atlantic is one fat lady and I'm afraid she's not planning on doing anything about it, so I can not do anything about them. Other options would be taking a trip to Norway, and I might just give you some more insight on our postal system :)
The arrows next to the quantities point out what I feel are good price-checkpoints. 5 bottles are good for small quantities, 16 bottles are good for heavier orders.
Quantities 9 to 16 (previously 17) are calculated in a different way because of a "package offer" the postal service has. This is up to a certain weight, and WITH the box and "cushining devices" required to get it safely across the Atlantic 17 bottles unfortunately crosses the weight limit. 16 bottles just got under 10kg (weighing in at 9.995kg). Quantities 1 to 3 are calculated in a different way that does not include any receipt or insurance for the delivery.
All prices are calculated to the American continent. For other prices, contact me thru mail or the forum on SaveSURGE.org. |
