Tonya Finds a SURGE Replacement
Tonya is a dedicated SURGE fan who wrote in to share her thoughts on a drink that has become a suitable replacement for the original:

I have been a hard core fan of Surge for the most of my adolescent life. Needless to say I was majorly bummed when I could no longer find my beloved green beverage. I have spent countless hours searching the Boston area for a glimpse of that neon green bottle (sometimes being let down by the sticker still on the soda fountain but only getting pale green soda water out of it...and still drinking it). But alas my dream came true yesterday November 6, 2005 at about 4:48PM I wondered into a Mobile On The Run to get a Red Bull before my 5:00 class to find a new drink....Mountain Dew MDX. It looked interesting and I enjoy Mountain Dew so I gave it a try. IT'S SURGE!!!!!! It is Pepsi's version! I swear it! Tastes exactly like it. I was so excited I almost cried. I ran back in and bought all of them...I'm stocking up! You have to try it! It is like a dream come true.
