Steve's SURGE Story
Steve shares the story of how he helped influence his local Coca-Cola bottler to continue producing SURGE!

I remember a while back when I was at a shaws super market..I was loading up on my delectable drink of choice and who comes up to me but the head of the Coca-Cola bottling company in my area of Salem, NH he said he couldn't believe that I was buying so much because the popularity of the drink was diminishing. He said because of that it made him wonder whether or not he should bring it off the shelf...He took my info and wrote me a letter included with one of the first samples of Mello Yello...Or as most of you know the replacement drink to Surge he also included a Surge bucket hat, Surge t-shirt and some other Coca Cola products. He said because he had seen me buying Surge at that store that he told his factory to extend the deadline for an extra 6 months but unfortunately after that I haven't seen Surge since. Every once in a while I come across an old vending machine and see a Surge label still on them but I have yet to find the drink - when I press the button it's usually Mello Yello.
