Sean's SURGE Story
Sean is a very dedicated SURGE fan. He has written many letters to Coca-Cola bottlers and now he shares the story of his love for SURGE:
Although drinking Surge at any time was an awesome experience, the fondest memory of Surge I can think of was a while ago, when Surge could easily be found anywhere you wanted to go, and the older, more extreme (and better, in my opinion) image of Surge was portrayed to everyone. I remember going to a local Hannaford grocery store and making an all-too-important stop to my favorite cooler, the Coca-Cola cooler which was in the corner by the restrooms. There were so many 20 oz bottles of ice cold green gold sitting inside the fridge that I didn’t know which one to choose, but obviously I made the right choice. The minute I opened that bottle of Surge, I took the best sip of all-the first sip. Then, I checked under the cap since one of their great promotions was underway, and wouldn’t you know it? I was the lucky, proud owner of a new Surge CD! I got home, sent the bottle cap away and enjoyed the rest of my soda. A week or two later, a package arrived with the most beautiful logo on the front, Surge! Sure enough, my new Surge CD was enclosed. Although I wasn't too fond of the music on the CD, and the "Surge Studio" wasn’t as fun as it was portrayed to be, having anything with that great symbol on it was a privilege. I still have that CD today.
Now, the accumulation of fresh Surge is impossible, and even getting expired ones is costly, as you all know. Now, sadly enough, I have lost the important part of my memory that allowed me to remember the taste of sweet Surge. Hopefully, Coke will stop these ridiculous Sprite "Remix" experiments, and flavored Diet Coke, and bring back the ONLY citrus soda that you’ll ever need, Surge. And I further hope that that day comes VERY VERY soon.

Thanks Sean!
