Ryan's SURGE Memory
Ryan was kind enough to share a special memory he has of SURGE back when it was the official softdrink of the NHL:

"Hi, I have a fond memory of Surge, when it was the Offical pop of the NHL. I'm not sure what year it was, '97 or '98 but I attended a special thing at the Joe Louis arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings (GO WINGS!). It was cool, they had a few arcade games set up on free play, you could get your picture taken with the Zamboni and it was all on the ice, with boards on it of corse. I was walking around, and there was this big display of Surge, it was a game of some sort. It was like a cake walk at a fair or something, you walked around and the person they called off got a FULL CASE OF SURGE! It was free to play, and you could play till you won. I got called on the 4th try and almost cried from the joy. I was happy for the next week and a half. I wish I saved some of it though!"
