For the Love of SURGE

Nick R.'s SURGE Story
1997 was probably the best year of my life. The Nintendo 64's golden era, Fu Manchu released "The Action Is Go", and Surge was created. I was about 9 years old when I got my first Surge from a friend of mine who lived down the street. I tried it, and loved it. It was our favorite soda. For me, Surge isn't JUST a soda, it's wonderful memories of my elementary school and recess, my friend (who now lives in Montana), the Nintendo 64 (probably the best video game system ever), and all the good times. When my friend and I played all the N64's great games, Surge was there. At school, Surge was everywhere. Then it disappeared. I used to be able to get it from a Texaco fountain around the corner from my house in Tulsa, OK. One day it was gone. I was heartbroken. Then, I found it at another Texaco in Tulsa, but farther away. Again, they took it away. Now I don't know where to find Surge. I did have a Surge keychain on my backpack, but some idiot at my school stole it without me knowing. I do Matt's Surge recipe (awesome) but I want to be able to buy it in 24 packs and such again. Mello Yello is good, but it's not the same. They don't sell that here either. Now I'm almost 16, and I really want my Surge back. It's the best drink ever. Peace.

Nick
