Matt W. Discovers that SURGE Ages Well
This lucky SURGE fan found a few cans of his favorite soda that had been locked away for years. He tells us that his SURGE "aged like a fine wine".

I was at my Grandpa's house recently and went downstairs to get a can of pop. I was rummaging through the fridge when I noticed three cans of Surge.

I was a huge fan of Surge back in the late 90's when I was in high school. I hadn't had it in quite a while so without hesitation, I grabbed one, popped the top,and took a long drink. It was just as I had remembered it, refreshing and tangy. I went upstairs to rejoin my family, my brother noticed what I was drinking. "I don't think they make that anymore," he told me. So I took a look at the bottom of the can and it had a date of 1997 on it. It was eight years old! The can of Surge had aged like a fine wine. I can't recall before or since having enjoyed a can of pop like that Surge. And the good news for me is, there are still two cans left in Grandpa's fridge.
