For the Love of SURGE

Laura's SURGE Story
Laura wrote in to share her fondness for SURGE and show her support for SaveSURGE.org:

Hey guys!

LauraFirst of all, I just want to say thanks so much for this website. I really thought I was the only person out there who loved Surge so much. My friends used to make fun of me because I called the coca cola company and E mailed them several times in the past few years to complain about the Surge drought. One day I was cruising around online to see if I could buy some Surge anywhere, and I came upon your website. I had no idea there were so many people out there like me who have had a hole in their heart since the disappearance of Surge. Your website actually gave me hope. Before, I thought I was one of very few people who really cared that surge was gone. Most people just forget a soda when the company stops bottling it. Now I know, I'm not the only one who's passionate about Surge. Coke needs to see that Surge is not only an incredibly awesome tasting soda, but it's associated with some of the best memories of our lives. When I think of Surge, I think of staying after school for practice and grabbing a Surge from the vending machine with all my friends. I think about parties. I think about mixing Surge and pixie stix for a boost of energy. I think about switching schools in 10th grade and actually being comforted by Surge during that difficult time. I know that the Wal-Mart thing being a bust is a huge disappointment, but I'd like to offer a little hope. I didn't even know about this site 10 days ago. Now, I know and I've hopped on the bandwagon and written Wal-Mart and Coke. So keep your head up. Your website is spreading like wildfire. I'm spreading the word and I'm sure every other new person who finds your site is. I sincerely believe this is a war we will win. And I'm willing to do my part to help us win the fight. Keep your head up and believe. If it takes us a hundred years, Surge will be back.

Your Friend,
~Laura
