For the Love of SURGE

Justin @ The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, GA

Just this past weekend, I went to Atlanta with a couple of friends to catch a couple of rock and roll shows. While there, I had to do what I could for the cause. On Saturday, we visited the World of Coke. For those of you who don't know what this is, it is a giant Coca-Cola museum.

We decided to spring the cash for the tour, in hopes that i could attempt to speak with someone about Surge. The tour was great. I went on it back in 1997 (last time I was there), but this time I had a mission.

Unfortunately, every person I talked to had no idea how to help us out. The only mention of Surge's existence was in a movie they showed us. there was a 2 second clip from the original Surge commercials.

Fortunately, the last 2 rooms on the tour consist of 13 varieties of american Coke products, and 13 varieties of foreign Coke products. Sure enough, SURGE WAS THERE! I was surrounded by tons of drinks, and all I did was have 36 cups of Surge. I would have had more if my bladder wasn't so small (stupid bladder).

Anyway, as we left the building, I turned and shouted, "THIS ISN'T OVER, COKE!!!!!" People all around me looked at me like I was insane. Hey, I haven't had Surge in quite a while.

Thanks for fighting for SURGE, Justin!
I'm planning on going down to the World of Coke for my honeymoon someday :)
