John Tries Matt's Recipe for Home Made SURGE
Matt's SURGE Recipe calls for dnL and Sunn Delight. John tried it out and shared his thoughts below:

Wow! Ok, I grabbed a five out of my wallet and ran to the nearest Grocery. I was so anticipating this to work! So, I buy a 2 Liter 7-Upside Down (dnL) and a 64 FL OZ of Sunny D. I run home with the bag in hand and I go to my computer desk, I look at the recipe and make sure it's correct and so now...

I grab a decent sized mug and pour a little over 3/4 of dnL into it. I then pour a little bit of Sunny D (It takes multiple times to get it perfect) and then...for a few minutes...I am in heaven. The last time I had Surge was when I worked at a local shell and found a Surge hidden behind the pop boxes. It wasn't until after I drank it I noticed that it had the "old" (and better) logo and it was dated 1999. It was great! I love Surge! Anyone who wants something so damn close to Surge try this. I heard Livewire tasted like Surge but when I tried it tasted nothing like Surge so I kept thinking that this wouldn't either. Try it, you'll like the results.
