7 Question Interview with Tommy Stephens
Tommy Stephens (aka TommyisTommy) has proven beyond a doubt that he loves SURGE. Since joining the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board in October 2003, he has posted more than 1,500 times. As a longtime member, he always answers the call when SaveSURGE.org needs his help to bring back our favorite soda. We sat down with Tommy to discuss his induction into the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame:

1. What's the best part about being in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
Knowing that no matter what happens with SURGE, I'm remembered!

2. What makes SURGE your favorite soda?
Well, SURGE is my favorite because of the taste (duh) and what memories it brings back....It also was the first soda that went away, and I actuly cared...I remember so many cool things when I think of SURGE...and it tastes great!

3. Do you think Coca-Cola and its bottlers will bring SURGE back?
I do think that SURGE will be made in the future. I do not however, know if it will be called SURGE. I think it's hard for Coke to ignore the demand for SURGE, I mean, 12 packs go for a TON on ebay, none of that money goes to Coke...

4. Describe how you felt when you realized that SURGE was no longer available in bottles and cans.
Well, I didn't know it was gone...till it was gone. I stopped drinking SURGE for a little while, then I remembered about it, and went to go get some. I go to the store, saw no SURGE...Not even a place for it on the shelf...I was at first confused...I just moved to PA, and SURGE was in NJ and Ohio about 3 months before I went looking. So I said mabye it's just regonal. So I went to NJ, no SURGE! At that point I was really disappointed...Really mad...I went home and was almost crying.

5. How did you feel when you found out that SaveSURGE.org was trying to bring it back?
I was so happy! I had never been so happy since my first sip of SURGE! I looked around the site for hours every day in amazement that so many SURGE fans attended the website. I then found the message boards, and now I'm here!

6. If Coca-Cola gave you the chance to tell them why SURGE should come back in 25 words or less, what would you say to them?
Coke, Litsen...Surge is loved by so many people, It's an icon of the 90's. Retro is in. So is SURGE!

7. Why do you feel that you have been enshrined as a member of the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
Because I have been here for a while, I LOVE SURGE!, I have posted over 1,500 times on the message boards...And I don't know what else to say...I'm honored to be here, and this is one of the best moments in my life!
