7 Question Interview with Ralph Daniel
Inducted on the same day as his best friend, Greg Eide, Ralph Daniel has been an outstanding example of dedication. During his years of support for SaveSURGE.org, Ralph has made it his business to spread the word about the site any way he can. He distributes flyers, he contacts Coke, he has made many contributions to Sightings list and has shared his collection with us in our For the Love of SURGE section. Not to mention that he's a frequent contributor to the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board. Ralph is the kind of person that helps keep SaveSURGE.org ticking! He sat down with us to discuss his induction:

1. What's the best part about being in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
The best part about being in the hall of fame is being recognized by others and joining the other fine people lucky enough to be in the hall of fame.

2. What makes SURGE your favorite soda?
Surge is my favorite soda because of its unique taste, the taste of Surge is unlike anything. Also the memories with Surge and, green...how can you go wrong with a color like that?

3. Do you think Coca-Cola and its bottlers will bring SURGE back?
I definitely think that one day Coke will bring back Surge. With the way we push for our favorite soda Coke must be listening.

4. Describe how you felt when you realized that SURGE was no longer available in bottles and cans.
I felt like something had been stolen from me. It didn't really hit me until I found the site. We had also found some old logo cans and were like "Hey Surge, I remember that". Those couple of cans re-started my love for Surge.

5. How did you feel when you found out that SaveSURGE.org was trying to bring it back?
I was very happy! I couldn't believe that there was a site to bring it back. I started visiting the site and got into trying to save it and this was back when we had the old site. It's a good feeling knowing that there are other people that want something just as bad as you do.

6. If Coca-Cola gave you the chance to tell them why SURGE should come back in 25 words or less, what would you say to them?
Look at the auctions, look at what we pay for Surge, this is money your not getting. $100 buys alot of fridgepacks.

7. Why do you feel that you have been enshrined as a member of the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
I feel that I have been enshrined as a member of the Hall of Fame because of the time and effort I have put into the site. This place is like a second home and to be given such a position as being in the hall of fame is mind-blowing.
