7 Question Interview with Kid Caliente
Kid Caliente (aka Miguel) is probably best know to SURGE fans for his music. His song, "Shock Tha System" was used in the SaveSURGE.org radio ad and along with his good friend (and fellow Hall of Famer) RMJ, created quite the buzz around the site. But he's way more than great music. He has a passion for SURGE and a great desire to see it come back. He took some time out to talk to us about his induction into the Hall:

1. What's the best part about being in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
Thats a good question, probably just the fact that someone thought I was worthy of such an accolade.

2. What makes SURGE your favorite soda?
No other soda ever tasted like that. It had such an ambiance & powerful energizing taste. The minute you taste it, your taste buds overload with that succulent citrus soda.

3. Do you think Coca-Cola and its bottlers will bring SURGE back?
Without a doubt, everyday SS.org gets more persuasive, and stronger each day. That betters our chances to convince Coca-Cola to get it back in production once again. Then our critics will jaws' will collectively drop.

4. Describe how you felt when you realized that SURGE was no longer available in bottles and cans.
I didn't believe it. I thought its prodution had been scaled back like Mello Yello (what an understatement). I thought as of early 2003 it was still around.

5. How did you feel when you found out that SaveSURGE.org was trying to bring it back?
I thought it was a joke. I simply did not believe it. R.M.J. showed me the website, in early 2003. I was like why does this exist, its still around. So i started checking out the site, and discovered that it was indeed an endangered soda, I was then glad to see that this site was its savior.

6. If Coca-Cola gave you the chance to tell them why SURGE should come back in 25 words or less, what would you say to them?
SURGE is your only citrus defense against Pepsi. Consumers need it and so do you.

7. Why do you feel that you have been enshrined as a member of the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
I suppose it's for my love of Surge. I feel honored that my submissions, and leg work paid off with this adulation. But the big payoff will be when i see SURGE back on the store shelves. HOLLA!
