7 Question Interview with K.C. Feather (aka K.C. Cool)
K.C. has been a distinguished member of the SaveSURGE.org community ever since there were still SURGE Sightings to report! That means he has seen all of the ups and downs of being a SURGE fan. The fact that he has made it this long also means that he is truly one of the most dedicated SURGE fans out there! We sat down with K.C. to discuss his well-deserved enshrinement into the Hall:

1. What's the best part about being in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
Being able to be a part of the best for something I love to do all the time, fighting to get our Surge back. It's a bonus on top of a bonus.

2. What makes SURGE your favorite soda?
The taste, just an amazing drink from the first and last sips of it. Very unique, which uniqueness is a thing I adore. Dark green, awesome logos, and the oh-so incredible taste. How could I NOT like it?

3. Do you think Coca-Cola and its bottlers will bring SURGE back?
Surge as its original formula, color, and taste? I think eventually if we keep our purpose up as much as we have, we will get it for a time and enjoy it. I can't imagine going through my entire life without tasting it through a Surge can ever again. Vault is a wonderful and beautiful victory for the site, but in my opinion it's not 100% Surge. Don't get me wrong, Vault takes up 90% of my soda consumption, I love it! However, if Vault is all we get, and it becomes successful, Coke might give us a small reward of the original Surge in time.

4. Describe how you felt when you realized that SURGE was no longer available in bottles and cans.
Like something in life that you love and knew you could rely on every day for the rest of your life... just vanishes. Much like oxygen just stops being produced, it sucks.

5. How did you feel when you found out that SaveSURGE.org was trying to bring it back?
Like I was at home.

6. Now that Vault has come out, do you feel it symbolizes a victory for our community?
Yes, big time. When a company fails at a soda and brings back something just like it for the fans, it makes me feel much better about Coke as a company in a whole. They listen. We have won a battle, but haven't won the war. Surge will always be our goal!

7. Why do you feel that you have been enshrined as a member of the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
I wanna say my continued support and additions to the site has helped bring that about, but that almost sounds selfish since EVERYONE that has aided or submitted to the site in any way has the power to do that. But in all honesty I do it for the community, helping to spread the word, and trying in any way in the aid of getting our delicious drink back and keep the one that we have been given...Simply because, that's what it's all about.
