7 Question Interview with Cody Hauri
Cody's induction into our Hall of Fame is long overdue. His contributions to our site have not only helped to keep things fresh, he's also made our day more than a few times with his personality. He has been one of the most dedicated SURGE fans to ever be a part of our community and now he's a Hall of Famer! He was kind enough to chat with us about this special experience:

1. How do you feel about being inducted into the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame?
It feels great! I knew helping out my favorite soda would pay off.

2. What makes SURGE your favorite soda?
I had always drank it when they had it at our Burger King. I couldn't get enough of the flavor!

3. Many people visit SaveSURGE.org but only a special few decide to get involved in our community as much as you have. What made you go that extra mile?
People haved called me many things for going this far for a soda. Forget what they say. I always just wanted the best flavor I ever tasted back in my fridge.

4. Describe how you felt when you realized that SURGE was no longer available in bottles and cans.
In my town, I had never seen it in bottles or cans, but when the strange people behind the counter told me they didn't have it anymore, I felt heartbroken. For the first few minutes I refused to drink anything. I hoped they would get it back in.

5. How did you feel when you found out that SaveSURGE.org was trying to bring it back?
Well, after Ben (a.k.a. CitraSURGEmoose54) talked one day about SURGE, I had ask him about whatever happened to SURGE, and he told me to logon to SaveSURGE.org. I logged on and I was thrilled! I knew that if we all tried hard, we would get them to give up and startup production of it again.

6. What are your thoughts regarding Vault? Have you tried it yet, and if so, do you consider it a victory for our community?
Oh, I've tried Vault. I have several test-marketing cases and several new cases of it at home. I do consider it a victory, but only the victory of a battle, but not of a war. I hear people everday saying that since Vault came out, SaveSURGE is over...but I don't. I know other people agree with me on this, that we shouldn't stop untill SURGE is completely back in its true form. Vault still is missing the "kick" that the SURGE taste had.

7. Besides SURGE, what are you other hobbies?
Besides SURGE, all I do is play games. Runescape, Graal, chess, etc. When I'm not yelling "SUUURRRGGEE!!" out of a car window, I'm just playing games...oh, and I participate in other soda activism. Such as trying to get Citra/Fanta Citrus to my town.
