Ernie's SURGE Cookies

"I was up late trying to sleep when I decided that I would try somthing new. I tried to come up with a food that tasted kinda like SURGE. After 3 tries I finaly got it right! I just had to share the recipe with someone, SaveSURGE was perfect. So here's the recipe, I hope to see it on your site.

Recipe for SURGE COOKIES:

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup parked dark brown sugar
about 1/4 can of SURGE soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to mixture, stirring well. Add the ever loved SURGE to the mixture and spread in a greased 13- x 9- 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 30 min. cut and enjoy surge."
