Cathy's SURGE Story
SURGE fan Cathy has had her hopes for a re-launch of SURGE restored when she found SaveSURGE.org:

Hello. My name is Cathy, I'm 38 years old and I'm a SURGE fan. I picked up my first SURGE at Walmart when 6-packs were selling for 99 cents. I chose it because it was cheap. I figured, "how bad can it be? And if it is, I'm only out 99 cents." Little did I know how my life would be changed by that fateful purchase. On the first sip I was hooked, but I kept telling myself I could stop drinking SURGE any time I wanted. It was no use, though. First a 6-pack a week, then a 12-pack, then two...soon I was clearing SURGE off the Walmart shelves faster than they could restock. I converted friends, family, co-workers, church members, I even created (with a little help from my sister) a Renaissance Festival stage show based around SURGE. (Of course, we had to change the name for the show to "Ulysses Golden Elixer".) It was your standard medicine show with one exception--everyone liked the medicine! I can see it now--the glorious glowing green SURGE swirling in a clear flask in front of my very eyes. Oh, the glory days! But then one day SURGE disappeared from Walmart. Not gradually, like in some areas, but literally overnight. I didn't panic initially because I figured it was just a Walmart thing. They generally stop carrying stuff just about the time I start buying it. And so I lost valuable time when I should have been scouring the surrounding areas for any remaining SURGE. By the time I realized SURGE was disappearing everywhere, it was too late! I put my last precious 12-pack away for emergency consuption only--days when only SURGE would prevent me from going postal. I have 5 cans left. I was nearly to the point of losing all hope that I would ever have a fresh SURGE again when I found SaveSURGE.org. Now there is hope again! Thank you, fellow SURGE fans, for putting the love of SURGE back in my life.
