For the Love of SURGE

Brad C. Shares His SURGE Story
Brad has fond memories of the days when SURGE ruled the soda shelf and he also shared hopes that it will one day return:

The first time I had Surge, I was a 1st grader. At the time when N64 and Pokemon ruled my life I didn't care what soda I drank. Until I discovered Surge. I remember the first time I saw and drank Surge! I was at the grocery store with my mom and saw the bright green box. I had to get begging my mom to buy me 3 cases. She agreed to buy 2. I frantically opened the box grabbing a shiny new can. I chugged it and had to have another. Got home, grabbed my green controller and began playing Golden Eye. My brother and a friend came into the room came into the room with a can in each hand. My brother proceeded to toss me a soda, and I delved deep into the wonderful world of Surge and became an instant addict. Years went by, every chance I had to drink one of those slices of Heaven, I did. Eventually those chances dwindled away and I sadly did not notice. I started occasionally drinking drinks such as DNL, Mountain Dew and Mello Yello to try and quench my thirst for that citrusy goodness. Until one day in sixth grade me and my friend were discussing our favorite sodas of all time, and I said Surge. At that point, it sparked my attention that we had to get Surge back. Another year had passed and I began to slowly forget about Surge. Then, I stumbled across a website called www.savesurge.org, and since that point it has been my life's mission to bring my beloved soda back. I have tasted Vault, but it does not fill the hole left in my heart left by the lack of Surge.
Bring it back!!!

Your beloved Surge fan,
Brad

Right on, Brad !
