Amanda's SURGE Stockpile
Amanda is a SURGE fan who had the foresight to build up her own stockpile of SURGE before it was taken away from us. She was kind enough to write in and tell us about how precious her remaining cans are:

Mm. I'm sipping a can of SURGE right now. But Coca-cola took away all SURGE in about a fifty mile radius a few years back. I'm under 18, so I don't have the opportunity to leave and search for some on my own, and well, I think it's obvious that most parents wouldn't agree that it's a necessity.

How's it that I have SURGE, then? I saved it. I saved a flat of SURGE way back when they still sold it here. This can expired two years ago, but...I have no other means. I have a can every now and again, but for the most part, I keep them for special occasions. I've never found something that's so fufilling as SURGE. It's a wonderful drink.

I am going to try a few alternatives, though (The recipe on your site and the new Livewire drink). It'll never be the same, but soon enough I'll go someplace and get some of the real stuff.
